In 2009 and 2010, BADMINTON England plays host to the European Badminton Championships, which for the first time will be held as two separate events occurring in consecutive years. The new format, while being held in two different locations, is very much one event, two cities.

WITH less than 100 days to go before the 100th All England Open Championships, BADMINTON England and Yonex today announced a further cementing of their long and enduring partnership.
On Sunday November 15th the inaugural Greater Manchester Junior Badminton League fixtures were held at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury. The League brought together 20 teams from ten clubs, with nine teams competing in the younger age group (school year 6, 7 or 8) and 12 teams in the older age (school years 9,10 or 11).
